The Tower of London

Location & Map

The Haunting

The Tower of London has witnessed nearly 1,000 years of executions, imprisonments, and royal drama. The most famous ghost is that of Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII's second wife, who was beheaded here in 1536. Witnesses report seeing her headless figure walking the grounds, sometimes carrying her head under her arm. The Bloody Tower is said to echo with the cries of the two young princes who mysteriously disappeared in 1483.
