Pripyat Amusement Park

Location & Map

The Haunting

The Pripyat Amusement Park was scheduled to open on May 1, 1986, just five days after the Chernobyl disaster. The park was evacuated before its grand opening, leaving bumper cars, a ferris wheel, and other rides frozen in time. Visitors to the exclusion zone report hearing phantom music from the rides, children's laughter carried on the wind, and seeing apparitions of families who never got to enjoy the park. The area's high radiation levels and sudden abandonment created a unique paranormal environment where time seems suspended.
