Betty was a student back in the 60s, and her real name was Elizabeth. Her boyfriend took her out to a stock pond around Notres and he shot her and weighed her body down and dropped her in the pond. The next day he was taken out of class and she showed the police where he dumped her body, and she haunts our auditorium because she was big into theatre.
