The Haunting

The Green Lady, or Dame Verte, is the most famous resident of Château de Brissac. She appears as a woman in a green dress with a decayed face and hollow eye sockets. First seen in the early 1800s, she's believed to be Charlotte de Brézé, an illegitimate daughter of King Charles VII. Guests report waking to find her standing at the foot of their bed, and her portrait hangs in the castle despite no one knowing who painted it.
